Driving in and around the Los Angeles area is not without its share of risks. At any time of day or night, the city’s streets see a lot of traffic, which only increases the potential for serious vehicle accidents. One such accident recently occurred in California and injured six people.

Details regarding the accident

Sometime around 1:30 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, June 12, two vehicles crashed at Barracana Avenue and Cypress Street in Covina. The report did not specify what types of vehicles were involved in the crash. Authorities were also not sure at the time of the report exactly what caused the crash.

Regardless, the collision caused injuries to six people, four critically, and all were transported to a local medical center for treatment. Those injured included children, although their identities and ages were not released. Witnesses report seeing at least three children at the scene, with one little boy receiving medical treatment. No word was given as to the injuries suffered by any adults.

Seeking compensation

Since this accident caused serious injuries to the victims involved, they hold the right to pursue civil claims against the driver deemed at fault in pursuit of recovering documented monetary damages. Hopefully, the evidence will demonstrate who was at fault in causing this crash, and armed with that information, those adversely affected can pursue a personal injury claim against the driver. By working with an experienced personal injury attorney in California, victims can gain a better understanding of their rights and options and increase their chances of obtaining the best outcome possible.
