M. Lance Kennix is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. The lawyers in our Litigation Practice provide services in a wide range of areas including business and corporate disputes, corporate investigations and criminal defense, environmental, international arbitration, patent and trademark, securities, toxic tort, and product liability.
Previously, Mr. Kennix worked as a summer associate for Morgan Lewis, where he assisted on projects with the Litigation and other practice groups. He also participated in the firm's Public Interest and Community Service (PICS) program, working at Muslim Advocates, a 501(c)(3).
Mr. Kennix received his J.D., with a concentration in tax, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2012, where he completed litigation-oriented elective coursework in eDiscovery, trial advocacy, appellate advocacy, and California civil procedure. In 2010, he won awards for both writing and oral advocacy in the law school's intra-scholastic moot court competitions. A former Black Law Students Association (BLSA) President, Mr. Kennix remains active with the organization through his fundraising efforts. He earned his B.A., cum laude, in philosophy, with a concentration in applied ethics and law, from Califronia State University, Sacramento in 2008.
